Join Our Team - Asset Protection Officer

Are you ready to make a significant impact within a dynamic team? As a Asset Protection Officer at CPA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the viability of our contracts and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs). You will collaborate closely with fellow team members to deliver best practices and contribute to our Company's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Asset Protection Officer duties as directed by management.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of site security policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.

  • Assist in achieving contractual KPIs through effective service delivery.

  • Provide on-the-job training to team members as directed.

  • Conduct thorough vehicle and foot patrols, documenting accurate post-patrol reports.

  • Operate security equipment and general office tools safely and reliably.

  • Complete timely and accurate documentation as required.

  • Uphold high standards for uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Participate in toolbox talks and professional development sessions.

  • Assist in maintaining site assets and vehicles to ensure compliance.

  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on safety incidents, security events, and patrols.

  • Adhere to all company and client policies and procedures.

  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by CPA or site management.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate II in Security Operations.

  • Current QLD Security Officer’s Licence Class 1 (Unarmed and monitoring).

  • Current unrestricted QLD Manual Driver’s Licence.

  • HLTAID009 – Provide CPR (refresher required per national guidelines).

  • HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid (refresher required per national guidelines).

  • CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry (or equivalent).

  • HLTPAT005 – Drug and Alcohol Certificate.

  • Fitness for work medical certificate as requested.

  • Proof of working rights in Australia (Passport, Visa, or Birth Certificate).
