Permanent and fixed term temporary opportunities to provide professional expertise and clinical Orthopaedics services as rostered in the Department of Surgery STARS, Metro North Hospital and Health Service. To participate in departmental teaching, junior doctor supervision, research and quality activities and demonstrate clinical leadership as a senior medical officer.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Operate as professionally responsible to the Director Procedural Services. Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
- Maintain currency and familiarity with STARS models of care, clinical workflows, and digital systems.
- Facilitate and participate in innovation and change by adopting contemporary approaches to clinical service delivery, creating a high-level performance culture of excellence within the Department.
- Participate in Department, Hospital and Clinical Stream teaching and training activities.
