Delivering 70+ new cars and 25-30 used cars per month, Nova is looking for someone to fill this crucial role in the business. We want to deliver our customers the car of their dreams, at the highest quality and cleanliness.
Automotive PreDelivery Department - Essential Duties

Washes vehicle exterior cleans interior and exterior windows and wipes down doorjambs.

Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces if required.

Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.

Cleans upholstery, carpets and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices.

Applies revitalisers and preservation/protection agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain-resistant chemicals. (We use and recommend AutoProtect products)

Cleans engine and engine compartment with pressure washer equipment and various cleaning agents.

Applies special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.

Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery and poor mechanical operation – reports back to management in a timely manner.

Restores appearance of engine area, carpets and upholstery and painted surfaces. Uses touch-up paint, dyes and other appropriate materials.

Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection.

Fills vehicles with fuel and/or recharges EVs as required.

Applies dressing on tyres and tyre wells.

Replaces missing or defective small parts.

Always maintains showroom, yard and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition.

Ensures proper stickers are displayed in the vehicle's windows.

Removes all other window stickers on sold vehicles.

Keeps work areas neat and clean. Store parts in safe & organised manner.

Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.

Reports any safety issues immediately to management.

Delivers finished/prepared vehicles to the showroom on time and of the highest quality.

Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty with the utmost precision and quality. Attention to detail and pride in presentation are two essential values needed.
Education and/or Experience
-
High school diploma/certificate preferred.

Vehicle Detailing experience essential.

Computer and Microsoft experience preferred.
-
Valid Queensland Driver's Licence essential.
