About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated team member to join us as an Estimator in Maryborough, QLD This role works within the Sales team and plays a key role in achieving financial targets and growth and improving Moddex’s position in the market. This role is primarily responsible for estimating/quoting on new and existing work for customers in a timely and professional manner.
Your days will be busy and varied, and will include:
• Demonstrating the ability to understand the Moddex offering and how this can support potential customers.
• Provides quotations for customers and prospects.
• Proactively builds and maintains effective business relationships with new and existing customers.
• Follows up quotes systematically.
• Provides customer drawings and details to departments and completes documentation when require
About You:
You will thrive in this role if you have a positive attitude to work and are willing to be trained.
• Previous experience estimating and quoting ideally in steel fabrication projects.
• Previous CRM experience.
• Strong software skills including, MS word, Excel and powerpoint.
• Have excellent time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
• Have problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Be professional with colleagues and customers.
• Have effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Have excellent listening skills.
• Have great attention to detail and the ability to take initiative.
• A trade qualification will be highly regarded but is not essential.
