About The Role:

Culture setup for microbiology sterile sites, swab, genital, urine and faeces samples

Setup of susceptibility testing
-
Performing manual microscopy techniques and utilising microbiology automation (i.e. MALDI-TOF, VITEK, Atellica)

Shifts will be either 4pm to midnight or 5pm to 1am, Monday to Friday and may include weekend work
About You:
1. Proficient, motivated and highly organised with great attention to detail
2. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
3. The ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team
4. The ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
5. Ability to undertake training and direction to retain and build on knowledge base
6. Great interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
7. Good availability to cover a variety of shifts, both rostered in advance and short notice
8. Previous microbiology laboratory experience will be considered an advantage
