About the Role
We are seeking a Permanent Full Time Outside School Hours Care Coordinator for our well established services based within School sites in Burnie.
We are looking for an experienced and professional individual or emerging leader to lead the team in delivering quality early education and care programs.
Our passionate team of educators strive to provide safe, engaging and enriching environments for the children in our care whilst ensuring they also have fun. Your excellent communication skills and genuine interest in supporting children to grow and realise their potential will have a lasting impact.

The Coordinator will be responsible for nurturing a positive and lively culture of collaboration and innovation, while ensuring a focus on quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
Applicants must have:

A minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)

Current employment class, Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable Persons Registration

Regular availability and flexibility to work a range of shifts during our opening hours

Demonstrated leadership experience in early childhood education and care, a strong understanding of the approved Learning Frameworks and National Quality Standards, maturity and a desire to provide opportunities for all children to learn and thrive are a must.
A generous remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Selection Criteria

Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQS), the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Framework for School Aged Care (MTOP).

Demonstrated commitment to professional learning, development and reflective practice to ensure the delivery of a high quality service.

Demonstrated early childhood education and care practices that are guided by the service Philosophy, Code of Ethics, policies and procedures.

The ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team, ensuring collaboration, effective and respectful communication and trusting relationships.

Proven experience or capacity to perform in leadership roles in early education and care settings, with a high level of effective communication, organisational and time management skills and initiative to manage competing priorities and complex scenarios.
