A unique opportunity to spearhead transformative change by supporting the establishment of the Gender-based Violence Reform Unit responsible for leading on the proposed National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-based Violence.
We are looking for experienced candidates with a background in regulatory or legal environments, ideally in social services, health, workplace health and safety or other relevant sectors to be part of establishing the regulatory scheme for the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-based Violence.
The Unit will lead the development of this new regulatory scheme, providing evidence-based guidance, education and support, as well as exercising a range of enforcement powers for higher education providers to comply with their legal obligations under the National Code.
