Accountant
Romeo’s Retail Group is continuing to grow the team, and we are on the search for a highly organised and self-motivated Accountant to join our accounting team, working under the leadership of our Senior Accountant. This position is based full time at our office located on O’Connell Street in North Adelaide.
In this role, you will focus on:

Preparation of monthly Profit & Loss accounts and Balance sheets for multiple legal structures.

Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process.

Balance Sheet reconciliations including intercompany transactions.

General Ledger maintenance.
-
Preparation of monthly and quarterly BAS and PAYG statements.

Fixed Asset Register maintenance.

Hire purchase Register maintenance.

Preparation of ad hoc management reports as requested.

Preparation of year-end financial accounts & reports.
What makes you right?
As an Accountant, with 3-5 years of experience, you will bring a positive outlook, with key attributes to include:

Strong attention to accuracy and detail

Strong numeracy and data management skills
-
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interact and communicate with a range of stakeholders

Strong knowledge of MYOB & Microsoft Office, in particular- Excel

Relevant tertiary qualification

Love of teamwork and growing with others

Flexible and adaptable to change
-
Previous experience in the Retail industry would be highly advantageous
