    About the Role

    Are you passionate about academic excellence and quality assurance? Do you have a knack for leading high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

    As the Manager, Academic Quality, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of academic quality across Swinburne University and its partners. You will lead a dedicated team responsible for monitoring quality of course delivery, designing and implementing quality frameworks, and translating data into actionable insights. Your efforts will directly contribute to the strategic direction of the University, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and academic excellence.

    About You

    To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Expert knowledge and appreciation of the academic environment and of the University organisation and operation including policy, systems and procedures
Demonstrated leadership abilities, particularly the ability to lead and motivate high performing teams towards the achievement of strategic objectives Knowledge of processes and key operational aspects of higher education, accreditation, implementation and quality Excellent conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to provide high level reports and advice to senior management Highly developed oral and written communication skills demonstrated through experience in developing policies and procedures, documenting business processes and presenting complex information verbally and in executive reports

Qualifications

Relevant postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
