Description:
The Role
The Contracts Officer will:
Assist in the entire contracting process, including planning.
Negotiate and draft contracts using templates.
Create changes for existing contracts and develop service specifications.
Execute contracts according to Adelaide PHN’s policies.
Document and file contracts in the Contract Information Management System (CIMS).
Advise internal stakeholders on contractual terms and best practices.
Check contracts for accuracy.
Use CIMS effectively to manage contracting workflows and approvals.
Ensure the accuracy of CIMS by generating reports and managing contracts.
Identify problems and improvement opportunities in contracting processes and work with the team to find solutions.

This opportunity is being offered as a part-time (minimum 0.4 FTE) or full-time, fixed-term contract until 30 June 2026.
Skills and Experiences:
About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
Relevant tertiary qualifications or significant experience in contract administration, development and procurement.
Proven expertise in negotiating, interpreting and drafting contracts (ideally in the health or community services sectors).
A strong understanding of probity, legal considerations, and risk and compliance management.
High proficiency in contract information management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to provide guidance to management on contract terms, compliance obligations and dispute resolution.
High attention to detail.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
