About Mini Ivy
Mini Ivy is a creative art studio devoted to nurturing imagination, confidence, and emotional development in young children through art. Our studio is a warm, play-based environment where children aged 3–6 are encouraged to explore, connect, and grow. With our flagship studio at 66 Findon Road, Woodville West thriving, we're excited to be launching a brand-new location in Payneham—and we’re looking for a kind, organised, and experienced Studio Manager to lead the way.
About the Role
As the Studio Manager at our Payneham location, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the studio, lead a small team, and ensure that every child and family has a magical Mini Ivy experience. You’ll be a confident and nurturing presence for both children and staff, creating a calm, engaging, and inspiring atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily studio operations and ensure smooth delivery of art sessions
- Lead, support, and coordinate a small team of educators and assistants
- Build strong, warm relationships with families and their children
- Ensure high-quality experiences by monitoring child engagement and staff performance
- Support children through art-based activities in a patient and creative way
- Plan weekly themes and oversee the preparation of materials
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised studio space
- Coordinate session bookings, rosters, and parent communication (with support from Head Office)
- Provide weekly updates to Head Office and contribute ideas for ongoing improvement
- Uphold and embody Mini Ivy’s core values at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing a team , ideally in a creative, early years, or educational setting
- Experience working directly with children in early years or primary-aged environments
- A warm, proactive leader who thrives in a creative and dynamic space
- Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
- Confidence in handling scheduling, parent queries, and team leadership
- Background in early childhood education, visual arts, or related fields (preferred)
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
