Description:
Reporting to the F&B Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the management and the profitable delivery of Food & Beverage Services related to our Retail Hospitality division that oversees our general public event day experience, which includes our kiosks and bars along with overseeing our onsite Koffee Ink Cafe. This will be achieved through a commitment to product and service excellence, influential leadership and management of the team and attaining operational efficiencies.To be successful in this position, you will be a hands-on people leader, with excellent business acumen and the motivation to build this role from the chip box up. You will be a strong communicator with outstanding organisational skills, and can deliver exceptional F&B experiences at every guest service level. Previous experience in stadium and event management environments will be highly regarded.
What you will be doing:
Coach, mentor, and train all team members through hands-on management, working closely with the Food & Beverage management team to maintain consistency and high service standards.
Provide operational hands-on support to your portfolio during peak periods and major event days.
Introducing new products and concepts to meet present-day and future demands in line with the business goals.
Assisting in the development of Food and Beverage annual business plan.
Preparation of Food and Beverage operational budgets, plans, specific projects, and scheduled facilities modifications including cost estimates.
Assisting with key people management functions such as recruitment and performance management.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong leadership and management skills.
The ability to demonstrate initiative and innovative thinking.
Strong financial and budgetary skills combined with a commercially oriented budgeting and catering management approach.
Experience with major events, and public catering.
The ability to work with team members from all levels of the organisation, including senior management team members.
Flexibility to work out of hours on during event/game days.

Out-of-hours work is a requirement for this role, which is in line with the business operations of Adelaide Oval. This includes weekend work and working on Major Event Days at Adelaide Oval.
