Why Family Planning NT?
Since its inception in 1973, Family Planning NT (FPWNT) has been a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting sexual health and rights for all. FPWNT specialises in contraception, pregnancy options including provision of medical abortions, well women’s health screening and general reproductive and sexual health issues.
Supported by the Family Planning Alliance Australia (FPAA), FPWNT provides safe and confidential access to reproductive and sexual health services, education, and information.

What’s the role?
To deliver clinical services within current FPWNT Clinical Guidelines.
In addition, the position is required to:
-
Collaborate with FPWNT nurses and administration staff to ensure effective and timely provision of services to clients including trainees
-
To participate in quality assurance activities to develop practices consistent with FPWNT policy as summarised in Policy and Procedure Manual

To maintain and share current professional knowledge and skills by participating in education and training programs and attending FPWNT meetings as supported by management

To be familiar with current Medicare billing procedures & FPWNT mixed billing

Medical Degree & current Medical registration

Current Medical Indemnity

Current CPR Certificate

NT working with children's card
-
FPAA certificate or achieve this qualification at FPWNT
