The Role
As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will take the lead in overseeing clinical operations within a medium residential aged care facility. You'll steer a dedicated team of care professionals, ensuring that all clinical processes-from assessments and care planning to compliance and staff development-are executed to the highest standards. This position is integral to maintaining exceptional clinical outcomes, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring residents feel at home, valued, and well cared for.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Growth: Inspire and mentor a multidisciplinary clinical team, driving excellence in care delivery and nurturing a supportive, engaged work environment.
- Clinical Oversight: Guide the development and review of care plans, ensuring compliance with best practice standards and accreditation requirements.
- Quality & Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for enhancement, champion risk management initiatives, and promote a culture of ongoing learning and professional development.
- Resident-Centred Focus: Advocate for each resident's well-being, dignity, and personal preferences, ensuring that care remains responsive and respectful.
- Compliance & Accountability: Maintain adherence to all relevant legislation, accreditation standards, and governance frameworks, safeguarding a secure and high-quality care setting.
About You
- Current AHPRA registration, backed by extensive clinical experience in aged care or related settings.
- Nursing Degree
- Demonstrated leadership success, with proven skills in guiding and developing clinical teams.
- Thorough understanding of aged care accreditation standards, regulatory frameworks, and adult learning principles.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
- Committed to fostering a collaborative and values-driven culture.
- MUST currently be in Australia with full-working rights.
