Amazon Devices is the team behind Echo with Alexa, Fire TV and Kindle, and is one of the most innovative and fastest growing businesses at Amazon.
We are looking for a self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills to support the sales and marketing teams as we grow Amazon’s innovative consumer technology business through the retail channel in Australia & New Zealand.
The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with a bias for action in managing day-to-day sales operations and in-stock support for our retail channel. You will support internal sales & marketing teams along with our external retail partners where you provide superior service levels and focus on sales and operational excellence in supply planning, promotional execution, reporting and claims processing.
You will have a passion for diving deep into data, providing insights and have a track record of managing multiple datasets whilst inventing and simplifying existing analytics processes. Furthermore, you will orchestrate the coordination of key internal business management and project initiatives that advance our business efficiency, channel engagement, and expand on our opportunities for growth.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage the end to end execution of Promotions Including creation and distribution of Promotional Planners and processing reseller claims.
• Manage and monitor sales and stock reporting, in close partnership with Sales & Inventory Management stakeholders and retail partners, as well as building new information exchange processes for increased visibility and insights with real-time analysis.
• Support Sr In-Stock Manager in supply planning and allocations across all product lines.
• Play a vital role in supporting new product launches into the channel, including creation of Price lists and new line forms for resellers. Working with our Sales and Marketing team, engaging with retailers and distributors direct.
• Time-management and organizing of resources to complete projects on time, to specification, and at expected quality.
• Create and Maintain sales reporting dashboards in Excel (Preferred in PowerBI or Tableau)
• Strategic mindset - creative problem solving and decision making.
• A Self-starter with a goal-oriented and highly motivated mindset, while also being able to follow instructions
A day in the life
To succeed, you’ll need to be willing to roll up your sleeves, show hustle, and work collaboratively across multiple teams and external retail partners. You will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the ANZ devices teams, managing promotional plans, supply allocations, processing claims and diving deep into the data to provide insights and measure success of sales & marketing initiatives.
You will report into the offline sales team and be part of a team that embraces calculated risk taking, moves fast to bring value to customers and has fun together while doing so.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of with Excel experience
- Experience in Retail or wholesale business
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control
- Experience managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, and communicating recommendations
