About the role
Jewish Care Victoria has a permanent part time vacancy for Cafe Attendants at our Residential Aged Care facility in Carnegie. This role is required to provide our customers with a highly positive and efficient hospitality service. This service will be recognised as best practice, compliant and meeting food safety (HACCP) standards.
What you will bring
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated prioritisation and organisation skills
- Basic cooking skills
- Previous experience in a café or similar environment
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to honestly and accurately handle cash transactions
- Proven ability and commitment to work autonomously
- Food Handling Competency
- Barista Competency
- Allergen Awareness
To be successful you require
- Previous experience working in a cafe
- Food Handlers & Barista qualifications
- NDIS worker screening check
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communicate skill
- Excellent ‘can do’ attitude
- Ability to identify and resolve problems
