About the Business Unit
Liquor Control Victoria (LCV) was established on 1 July 2022 and comprises the independent Victorian Liquor Commission and staff from the Department of Justice and Community Safety. LCV is responsible for issuing liquor licences and overseeing industry compliance and enforcement to ensure that Victorians and visitors to the state enjoy safe and responsible liquor licenced environments.
About the Role
The Senior Training Officer at LCV is responsible for delivery of mandatory training programs for licensees and workers in some licensed premises.
We are looking for someone with strong skills in developing online learning for adult learners and a high level of project and stakeholder management skills.
This role is responsible for engagement and oversight of the registered training organisations (RTOs) who deliver mandatory training programs. The role leads engagement with responsible service of alcohol training providers. An understanding of how national units of competencies are developed and assessed, and an understanding of how RTOs operate will be highly regarded.
