At Green Leaves Early Learning, we take pride in building a learning environment where children are inspired to be curious about taste and flavour. Working closely with the Centre Chef at Green Leaves Early Learning Bellerive, each day you can:
- Use your extraordinary culinary skills to support the Centre Chef in preparing a wide variety of nutritious meals and purees, as well as working to dietary requirements for babies and children
- Greet our wonderful families with a big warm friendly smile each day, and wow them with your barista-made coffees and freshly baked treats (barista training provided if required)
- Provide thoughtful culinary classes alongside our Centre Chef and Educators
- Ensure the highest level of food safety, by maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, in accordance with Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards
- Combine your amazing time management and communication skills to support the kitchen to run smoothly each day.

Ideally, we’d love for you to hold:
- A current Food Safety Certificate (or willing to obtain upon commencement)
- A current State relevant Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain upon commencement)
- Current Child Protection Training (or have the willingness to obtain)
- Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates (or have the willingness to obtain)
- Experience cooking for young children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years of age
- Availability to work 20 hours per week
- The willingness to step up into Chef’s role when they are absent from the Centre from 6:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.
