Description:

  • Manage and maintain customer credit files
  • Process and reconcile payments and invoices
  • Collect and follow up on outstanding accounts
  • Liaise with customers regarding payment plans and disputes
  • Contribute to the efficiency of the accounting/finance department
  • Prepare and present reports on collection activity and receivables
  • Comply with industry regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate effectively within the team and across departments

Requirements:

A successful Credit Officer should have:

  • A solid understanding of credit control procedures
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • A team-player mindset, with a knack for building positive relationships
