Description:
- Manage and maintain customer credit files
- Process and reconcile payments and invoices
- Collect and follow up on outstanding accounts
- Liaise with customers regarding payment plans and disputes
- Contribute to the efficiency of the accounting/finance department
- Prepare and present reports on collection activity and receivables
- Comply with industry regulations and company policies
- Collaborate effectively within the team and across departments
Requirements:
A successful Credit Officer should have:
- A solid understanding of credit control procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- A team-player mindset, with a knack for building positive relationships
