The Web Systems Manager provides technical leadership to support the efficient operation of the CareSearch Group of websites and applications, developing effective operational processes, providing advice on systems and applications and manages website workflow across the projects.
The Web Systems Manager also designs and uploads content and resources for national websites and applications managed within the CareSearch projects. This includes the CareSearch, palliAGED and ELDAC websites, and other determined projects utilising infrastructure such as the content management system, research data management system, learning management system, and newsletter and communications systems. Due to the nature of the work, occasional weekend and/or evening work is a requirement of this position.

About You
Your excellent interpersonal skills, (including written and verbal skills), allow you to engage with a broad range of stakeholders. As you will work with academic and professional staff working on the various projects it is expected that you have the ability to liaise with internal and external partners and stakeholders alike.
With your extensive knowledge and experience of the ICT sector and its operational processes, you will have the ability to effectively develop and manage websites and their underlying systems and functionalities.
You will also be able to demonstrate:
Extensive experience in developing online resources including websites, online surveys, e-learning modules and databases Excellent organisational and administrative skills, including the ability to support projects, work collaboratively to prioritise workloads, problem solve and meet deadlines. Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a high performing team, including the ability to undertake task, performance and development planning and review and support teams through changeYou will also have completed a degree qualification and possess relevant work experience in ICT, website development and management, and/or computer programming.
