Description:



  • Container & Truck Bookings - Arrange and confirm shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, and transport providers.


  • Export Documentation - Prepare and verify shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and customs declarations.


  • Compliance & Regulations - Ensure all shipments meet international trade regulations, food safety standards, and customs requirements.


  • Shipment Coordination - Monitor schedules, track shipments, and liaise with suppliers, customers, and transport partners to ensure timely deliveries.


  • Issue Resolution - Troubleshoot and resolve shipping delays, documentation discrepancies, and logistics challenges.


  • Communication & Reporting - Maintain accurate records, update stakeholders on shipment progress, and support internal teams with logistics insights.



Requirements:



  • Experience - Proven background in export coordination, freight forwarding, or logistics, ideally within the food industry.


  • Knowledge - Strong understanding of international shipping, container and truck bookings, export documentation, and customs compliance.


  • Attention to Detail - Accuracy in preparing and verifying documentation to prevent delays or compliance issues.


  • Problem-Solving Skills - Ability to manage shipping challenges, resolve delays, and ensure smooth export operations.


  • Communication - Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with freight providers, suppliers, and customers.


  • Organisational Skills - Ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


  • Tech-Savvy - Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
