Our client, a Managed Service Provider (MSP), is in search of a dedicated Citrix Engineer to join their team immediately. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a tier 1 mining company, playing a vital role within their infrastructure team.
As part of this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transition of computer systems between environments, optimising NetScaler VPX units for enhanced performance, and working closely with team members to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, particularly Citrix Cloud.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and comprehending computer systems.
- Experience with configuring and relocating computer hardware.
- Comfortable operating various systems, especially Windows 10.
- Previous involvement in configuring and maintaining specialized computer setups.
- Familiarity with incident tracking tools such as ServiceNow.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to Citrix technologies or Nutanix environments is advantageous.
- Possession of the Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualisation (CCP-V) certification is desirable.
