Senior Project Manager, Core HR/PayrollAbout the Role: Our large Queensland Government Agency client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new Human Capital Management Solution (HCMS). This role involves overseeing the foundational planning and execution stages of the new HR/Payroll solution, ensuring successful data migration, and managing project governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, document, and successfully complete a complex project.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage project teams and resources across various functions.
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies and legislative requirements.
- Oversee operational aspects, including report preparation, planning documentation, and tracking key project milestones.
- Act as the escalation point for risks and issues, coordinating mitigation and rectification strategies.
- Current PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management tools, including Microsoft Project.
- Proven experience in delivering successful HCM implementations, including payroll migrations, within large and complex organisations.
- Extensive experience with SAP SuccessFactors Modules or other HRIS systems.
- Minimum of 10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in SAP/SuccessFactors implementations or similar HRIS systems.
- Expertise in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Highly developed project management and team leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of change management processes.
- High-level analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
