Accounts Receivable Officer
- Salary: $76,817 - $93,275 (Plus Superannuation)
- Ongoing role, full time (flexibility may be available)

The Role
The Accounts Receivable Officer plays a key role in managing the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Cash Management (CM) functions for the Department of Job's, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR) and its associated entities. This role supports the team ensuring efficient and timely processing of customer invoices, receivable activities, debtor management, daily cash management and related month-end reporting tasks.
Key accountabilities include:
- Manage and coordinate the Department's AR and CM processes.
- Respond to general inquiries and provide advice, guidance, and resolutions to address AR and CM-related queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Actively participate in service delivery within the broader Financial Operations Team, contributing to collaborative efforts and supporting special projects.
The Team
The position of Accounts Receivable Officer forms a part of the Finance, Investment and Procurement branch within the Corporate Services group.
The group works to build a safe, high-performing organisation where the department's people are supported to perform at their best. The group does this by providing strategic, operational and program delivery support services in creative and innovative ways.
Finance, Investment and Procurement supports best practice resource allocation, budget and financial management and procurement across the department.
About You
Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, this position collaborates closely with other members of the Financial Operations Team and requires a proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual who can work both independently and with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will exemplify collaboration and provide supportive engagement in daily tasks and interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.
