- IFA 8 - $140,056 per annum* + superannuation
- 4% salary increase effective 21 April 2025 (EB Agreement)
- + private use of vehicle (value $17,068)

- + 5 days additional recreational leave
- + 10-day fortnight
OR
- Stream A 8.1 - $115,654 per annum* + superannuation
- 4% salary increase effective 21 April 2025 (EB Agreement)
- + private use of vehicle (value $17,068)
- + $6,000 Relocation allowance (for suitable candidates)
- + 17.5% leave loading
- + 9-day fortnight
*PLUS $11,000-$13,000 allowance subject to qualification and experience held

What your day will look like:
The Manager Strategic Infrastructure Planning is responsible for leading the development and delivery of long-tern, regional infrastructure planning, strategies and policy having regard to relevant statutory, policy and financial provisions.
This role will take the lead in the delivery and application of the infrastructure and engineering elements of Councils 10 year statutory review of the Planning Scheme, along with Councils 5 year statutory review of the Local Government Infrastructure Plan. This is a diverse role that will require the successful candidate to build and maintain strong, cooperative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver results and ensure cross program cooperation.

What you’ll need for success:
Tertiary qualification (AQF Level 7 or above) in civil engineering, infrastructure planning or equivalent
Registration with Queensland Board of Professional Engineers (RPEQ) or eligibility to readily obtain
Experience in the design and project management complex civil infrastructure projects
Extensive infrastructure planning experience
Demonstrated technical knowledge of the Queensland land use planning framework
Experience in civil infrastructure planning, strategy, and policy development activities in a local government environment
Well developed interpersonal skills, and written and oral communication skills
Queensland Class “C” drivers’ licence
