Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

This role exists in an environment of interruption and sometimes difficult public/customer relations and functions with a degree of independence. This role is 'supported and governed' by established policies/procedures to ensure the desired level of service for patients is achieved according to departmental standards and SCHHS guidelines.

Key Responsibilities include:
Exercise judgement when necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined.
Effectively communicate with patients and family members whilst demonstrating understanding, empathy, patience and a positive service focus.
Provide high quality confidential administration support to the ED Access & Flow team.

Salary rates: $48.51 - $53.95 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (several casual positions, hours as required). This position works a 24/7 rotating roster. Applications will remain current for 12 months.
