Description:
Join our client and their dynamic team in Archerfield, QLD , as a skilled Boilermaker ! In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing earthmoving equipment , ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Fabricate, weld, and repair heavy equipment and components, including structural steel and machinery parts.
- Perform high-quality welding and fabrication using various materials such as steel and alloy.
- Carry out maintenance and modifications on warehouse equipment to meet operational needs.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and safe repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and standards.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
Position Details:
- Monday to Friday roster
- Hours; 6am to 2:30pm (Monday-Thursday) & 6am to 12pm (Friday)
- Day shift only
- Casual ongoing position
- $51.13 per hour + penalties
The successful candidate, must have:
- Current drivers' licence and reliable transport
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent
- High-Risk Work Licence - Forklift, Working at Height, Elevated Work Platform
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and protocols.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical including Drug/Alcohol screen
