About the Role
The Accounts Receivable Team Leader is responsible for providing relevant, reliable and timely financial management advice and reporting services. Those services include the effective maintenance of the accounts and finance framework and systems and the integrity of information recorded at the IntoWork group level.
The role will manage part of the Accounts Support team, coordinate the teams' tasks, determine priorities and set direction, targets and objectives for the team in line with the greater organisational objectives and strategies. This includes the supervision of designated Accounts Support staff, the bringing together of the teams' different skills and experience and supporting the team's growth and development to provide an exceptional level of service across the IntoWork Australia Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership of the relevant Accounts Support team and functions (AR), ensuring accountability over outcomes.
- Motivate and provide coaching and development to your team.
- Identify and assist in designing and implementing continuous improvements to financial systems, controls and processes.
- Develop controls to ensure the accuracy of financial data within our systems and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities as appropriate to team members, supervise and coordinate work flows to meet the Finance team critical deadlines and key performance indicators.
- Provide reporting information to internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Ensure staff understand and comply with IntoWork's financial policies and procedures.
- Comply with relevant WHS regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Business Leaders across the Group and the Management team and drive a positive workplace culture and safe and supportive environment.
- Ensure a high level of confidentiality and discretion is exercised at all times.
Skills/Experience
- Sufficient experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in a recognised accounting software package is essential. Experience in Microsoft Business Central for AR, Collect 365 highly regarded.
- Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is essential particularly in Excel.
- Experience working across multiple organisations (highly advantageous).
