Role Introduction:
Staff Australia is currently looking for experienced Labourer's to join a Steel Distribution Warehouse in Darra.
Day Shift - 7am to 3pm Mon-Fri - $31.96 per hour
Afternoon Shift - 2pm-10pm Mon-Fri - $35.79 per hour
Client
Located in Darra, our client is a leader in the steel distribution industry, stocking and distributing various steel products.
Key Tasks / Responsibilities:
In this position you will…
- Manual handling of steel product
- Learning operations of gantry crane
- Learning steel cutting machines
- Repetitive lifting for 20kg plus
Experience / Required Skills:
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- Hold a current and valid driver's license and reliable transport
- Must be fit and strong
- Ideally have experience working within a heavy industrial or mechanical background
- Valid work rights within Australia
- Willingness to learn
- Experience and or ability to work in a fast-paced manual handling environment
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Work safely and efficiently with great attention to detail
- Safety conscious attitude
