Our client is seeking a confident, motivated, and highly organised individual to join their team as a Workshop Foreman at their Colinroobie Mechanical Workshop (near Leeton, NSW).
This is a hands-on leadership position , where you will be responsible for planning, prioritising, and allocating work tasks, as well as overseeing their completion. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and leading workshop crews.
- Providing leadership, guidance, and coaching to mechanical staff.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace safety, regulations, and quality standards.
- Conducting general workshop duties, with some fieldwork (which may require travel and working away from home).
To be successful in this role, you will need:
✅ Previous supervisory experience and a relevant trade qualification (minimum Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology / Diesel Mechanics ).
✅ A positive attitude , strong work ethic, and the ability to foster a team-focused environment .
✅ Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail .
✅ Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise workloads to meet customer demands.
✅ A current driver's licence and full working rights in Australia .
✅ Proficiency in computer systems and workshop-related software.
✅ Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical check, including drug & alcohol testing .
