About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide advanced leadership and management for a team of Oral Health and Dental Therapists within the School Dental Service (SDS) of Metro North Oral Health Services (MNOHS).

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Deliver contemporary oral care clinical practice with an advanced level of clinical expertise and comprehensive understanding of the health care continuum.
  • Provide advanced level clinical advice and direction based on well-developed clinical knowledge to Oral Health & Dental Therapists.
  • Contribute, as part of the leadership team, to strategic planning for SDS and provide advocacy for the service in advising senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic direction using advanced managerial knowledge and skills to lead a team of Oral Health and Dental Therapists operating across multiple clinical facilities within SDS.
