Griffin State School are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Early Years Support Coordinator on a temporary part-time (0.27FTE) basis until 19 September 2025 unless otherwise determined.
The successful applicant will participate in the development and delivery of the KindyLinQ program and will build and maintain community engagement, connections and partnerships with local early childhood services and community agencies that can assist in supporting child and family wellbeing, provide timely wrap around services, and facilitate successful transitions from Kindy and school.

About the Role
As the Early Years Support Coordinator your responsibilities include:
- Plan and undertake a community engagement strategy (outreach) to connect families with the KindyLinQ program.
- Work in partnership with the KindyLinQ Teacher to refine and/or target aspects of the program in ways that: respond to priority populations of the local community; enhances the capabilities of children and families; supports their needs and interests; and strengthens the confidence of parents/caregivers in understanding how to support and enrich their child's learning and development.
- Support families to draw on the strategies and experiences shared at KindyLinQ and continue to use these in the home environment
- Work with the school to strengthen partnerships with local early childhood services and community agencies to support pathways to Kindergarten and wrap around support for enhanced child and family wellbeing.
- Share information about KindyLinQ with local services and agencies
- Investigate and coordinate targeted visits by key local agencies into KindyLinQ sessions e.g. regular visits by a Child Health Nurse, Nutritionist, Librarian, approved kindergarten providers/educators.
