Senior Web Developer - Salesforce Developer
- Salary: $109,730 - $132,764 (Plus Superannuation)
- Fixed term: 30 October 2025
- Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)

The Role
The role of the Salesforce Developer will deliver enhancements in an Agile environment across the department's multiple Salesforce instances. This position is responsible for Salesforce technical development and solution design, integrations with other platforms, delivery, and release management. The Salesforce Developer provides strategy recommendations for Salesforce development, including technology approaches, security, apps, and third-party tools that deliver best practice outcomes.
Key accountabilities include:
- Participation in all Agile ceremonies including planning, sizing, and daily standups for all development tasks. This will include usage of Atlassian Jira, Bitbucket, Illuminated Cloud, Jenkins and Agile development toolsets.
- Analysis and review of business requirements, definition, and delivery of the technical coding strategies. This will include development of Lightning UIs and components on the Salesforce platform.
- Contribute to design, development and support of integrations between platforms (e.g. Office 365, Oracle and Salesforce) that deliver best practice outcomes.
The Team
The position of Salesforce Developer forms a part of the Information Services branch within the Corporate Services group.
Corporate Services actively supports Ministers and DJSIR portfolio groups to create conditions for sustainable economic development and employment growth. The Group works collaboratively to deliver integrated and operational functions across the department, leading the development of governance, people, culture, systems, and capability.
Information Services (IS) oversees the delivery of ICT-related investments and services to DJSIR. IS engages with the organization to ensure ICT systems and services are appropriately designed, governed, and delivered.
About You
This role comes with the expectation that Salesforce certification and Trailhead badges will be obtained within 12 months of commencing and this will be supported by the department.
Demonstrated experience in Salesforce development, including configuration and customization is needed to be successful in the role.
