About the role

Join our dynamic medical imaging team and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic services. As a Radiographer, you will utilise advanced Radiography equipment to perform diagnostic imaging examinations that support patient care across various clinical specialties. In the AHP1 role, you will focus on standard radiographic examinations, progressively developing professional independence as you refine your expertise. As an AHP2, you will take on more complex imaging procedures with minimal supervision, contributing to diverse modalities while mentoring and guiding less experienced radiographers and students.

In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing patient outcomes through accurate imaging and professional collaboration. AHP2 incumbents will also lead by example, providing direction to junior team members, participating in quality assurance programs, and engaging in approved research initiatives. Whether you are developing your skills or bringing advanced expertise, this is an opportunity to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team dedicated to excellence in medical imaging.

About You

We are looking for a skilled and adaptable Radiographer who is passionate about delivering high-quality imaging services and contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong Technical Expertise – Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of imaging procedures, including more complex general radiography, while assessing and selecting clinical and technical examination requirements according to patient needs.

  • Commitment to Safety & Quality – A thorough understanding of radiation safety principles, quality improvement programs, and regulatory requirements, including the Radiation Protection and Control Act. Knowledge of RIS/PACS systems and an appreciation of medico-legal responsibilities.

  • Effective Communication & Teamwork – Ability to interact positively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to teach and clinically oversee staff and students.

  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving Skills – A resourceful and innovative approach to work, demonstrating initiative, flexibility to change, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

If you are a dedicated radiographer ready to contribute to a dynamic and supportive team, we’d love to hear from you!
