SA Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to fill a Part-time, Short-Term Contract position as an Admin Officer in Palliative Care. This rewarding role is based in Adelaide Metro Southern, working within Flinders Medical Centre.
About the role:
Reporting to the Manager of Community Palliative Care in this vital role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support to the Palliative Care team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient patient care. Your duties will include maintaining accurate patient records, coordinating appointments, managing correspondence, and facilitating effective communication between healthcare professionals and families.
To excel in this position, you must possess excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality are essential.
About you:
- Willingness to be flexible, learn new skills and adapt to a changing work environment
- Proven experience in basic computing skills, including email and word processing.
- Experience in working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a health care environment
