About the role
Are you ready to launch your career in medical physics with hands-on experience and expert guidance? This exciting opportunity offers you the chance to complete the Training, Education and Accreditation Program (TEAP) through the Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM), specialising in Nuclear Medicine Physics. You'll be part of a dedicated team supporting medical imaging across SA Medical Imaging (SAMI) sites, playing a key role in advancing patient care through science and technology.
In this role, you'll assist in delivering high-quality medical physics and radiation safety support, while also contributing to quality control, radiation dose optimisation, and audit activities. You'll be involved in maintaining compliance with radiation legislation and support research and teaching initiatives in line with SAMI's objectives. This is a unique opportunity to develop your expertise while making a meaningful impact on healthcare delivery across South Australia.
About You
You are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for medical physics and a keen interest in developing your career through structured training. Your strong communication skills and analytical mindset will help you thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced healthcare environment.
