About The Role

TAFE SA is seeking a passionate Children’s Services Professional Level 1 to join our vibrant childcare team . In this role, you will contribute to the management and delivery of high-quality care and education for children, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment. Working closely with educators and families, you will play a vital part in ensuring excellence in early childhood education.

The Successful Candidate Must Have

  • A Diploma in Children’s Services or an equivalent qualification recognized by licensing authorities.
  • Current certification in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse, and Neglect – Education and Care and First Aid.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage children, parents, and staff from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing care and educational programs, including for children with special needs.
  • The ability to supervise and motivate both qualified and unqualified staff.

Special Conditions

The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

  • Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
