Orion Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Nursing Support Worker to assist clients with day-to-day care and support in line with their individual care plans. As a key member of the care team, you will work closely with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide essential support in promoting the health, well-being, and independence of our clients.
You will work hard and with empathy to complete a variety of domestic, social, respite and personal care services, assist with program administration This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or a related field
· At least one year experience in a similar role·
Experience working in aged care, disability or community nursing is desired
In this role your main responsibilities include:
· Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support, ensuring clients maintain their dignity and comfort.
· Support clients in their daily routines, including meal preparation, feeding, and assistance with household tasks.
· Work alongside Registered Nurses to monitor client health, report changes in condition, and assist with implementing care plans.
· Provide emotional support and companionship, helping clients stay engaged in social and community activities.
· Help administer medications under the supervision of Registered Nurses, ensuring correct dosages and adherence to prescribed care plans.
· Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, ensuring compliance with care standards and client confidentiality.
· Promote a safe and comfortable environment for clients, adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
· A valid First Aid Certificate and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
· Current Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
· A genuine passion for helping individuals lead healthy and independent lives.
