About the Role
As a Sales & Marketing Support Coordinator, you will work closely with the Managing Director and Sales Heads to support the complete sales lifecycle. From planning and market analysis to CRM optimisation and event coordination, you will be instrumental in helping the company strengthen its market position and achieve long-term revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the MD and Sales Heads across Australia & New Zealand with sales lifecycle management—planning, goal setting, researching, contacting, qualifying, consulting, and selling.
- Develop and execute a customised sales plan that aligns with long-term business strategies and corporate revenue goals.
- Provide corporate support in product introduction strategies, market intelligence, risk analysis, and consulting to enhance decision-making.
- Identify market opportunities and report on emerging trends, competitive positioning, and potential business risks.
- Foster relationships with key industry associations and provide hands-on support at trade fairs, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Manage and optimise CRM systems (Salesforce/SAP) to track leads, opportunities, and sales performance. Ensure data accuracy and demonstrate CRM’s value to the sales team.
- Monitor lost orders, track industry trends, and stay informed about competitor strategies and market developments.
- Assist in strategic planning, including three-year sales forecasts, annual budgeting, investment planning, and financial forecasting.
- Lead the Sales Excellence initiative to strengthen key account relationships and enhance business development strategies.
- Oversee the departmental budget, ensuring cost-effective execution of events, promotions, and lean management principles.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales support, market research, or marketing analytics.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven and strategic approach to decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create high-impact sales and marketing materials.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in coordinating trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events.
