The role
As part of the Parks and Open Space team, this position is responsible for:
- maintenance and improvement of open space areas such as reserves, parks, sportsgrounds and roadsides
- operating and maintaining a range of medium sized plant and equipment, such as tractor and mowers
- auditing and maintenance of sportsground irrigation systems
Our ideal candidate
To be successful in this role you will have:
- relevant experience and qualifications in horticulture, turf management or equivalent
- broad knowledge and experience in all aspects of open space and turf maintenance
- knowledge and experience in the operation of a range of plant and equipment including tractor and associated implements and automatic irrigation systems
