It means becoming your best self in a global automotive company striving towards sustainable luxury. Empowered by visionary colleagues who share the same pioneering spirit. Together for excellence.
In this 12 month temporary contract position based at our head office in Mulgrave, Victoria the IT Asset & Infrastructure Analyst plays a hybrid role that bridges technical infrastructure design and IT asset lifecycle management. This role will oversee data centre and network solution design while also managing end-to-end asset lifecycle operations, vendor accounts, and compliance processes. The successful incumbent ensures seamless integration of business demands, vendor management, and infrastructure strategy, while also maintaining data accuracy, governance, and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities of this position include:
1. Infrastructure Solution Design & Project Support
- Drive and support data centre and network transitions, including the migration of legacy systems to Global Data Centres.
- Conduct technical reviews and validate migration runbooks, architecture concepts, and implementation strategies.
- Align business and technical stakeholders, resolving conflicts between internal teams and external vendors.
- Define, manage, and continuously improve ITSM processes, especially around incident resolution, pricing models, and audit preparedness.
- Provide transparency and regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on infrastructure projects and technical performance.
2. IT Asset Management & Vendor Coordination
- Oversee the full lifecycle of company-issued devices such as phones, laptops, and accessories—managing everything from ordering and receiving to tracking, returns, replacements, and end-of-life processing.
- Coordinate with key technology vendors and service providers to ensure accurate invoicing, timely delivery, and smooth operational flow.
- Manage and guide the MSP (Managed Service Provider) in delivering day-to-day asset support, including:
- Logging and maintaining accurate records of all incoming equipment.
- Monitoring device usage across the organisation to identify inactive or duplicate assets and ensuring appropriate actions (return, reassignment, or retirement).
- Processing requests for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment—working with leasing partners, gathering compliance documentation, and managing cross-charging procedures.
3. Reporting, Documentation & Compliance
· Create and review regular reports to track asset usage, identify inactive or unassigned equipment, and support internal planning.
· Check and follow up on user activity—especially when staff leave, go on extended leave, or no longer need certain devices.
· Collaborate with internal IT teams to resolve equipment issues, verify warranties, and provide support with hardware requests.
· Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and ready for audits.
· Follow company policies and legal requirements around data protection, workplace safety, and environmental standards.
What you need to be successful:
- Proven experience in network and datacentre architecture (Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba).
- Hands-on IT operations experience including infrastructure migrations and service delivery.
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms and workflow design (e.g., major incident management, asset governance).
- Strong Microsoft Excel/reporting skills for reconciliation and auditing.
- Knowledge in NPS/CSAT practices a plus.
What we are looking for:
- Exceptional attention to detail skills with a process improvement mindset.
- Stakeholder engagement and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Analytical, solution-focused approach with strong documentation habits.
- Experience working in fast-paced, vendor-driven IT environments.
