Description:
The Senior Project Lead is responsible for the oversight and coordination of project delivery activities undertaken by cross-functional teams in Solar Victoria that are related to the introduction of a new energy efficiency activity under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program.
The role will be responsible for developing, refining and maintaining project management systems and frameworks to support project delivery; including project plans, status reporting, risk reporting and mitigation, governance arrangements, business performance. The role will also oversee the delivery of the project in accordance with quality, timeframe and budget expectations.
The role will work closely with those teams to bring their work streams together and ensure appropriate cross-fertilisation of activities and objectives, sound project coordination, governance, risk and assurance processes, and coordinated project tracking and reporting.
The role will manage a small team to support the Project Director in the administrative oversight of project governance functions, including preparation of meeting papers, briefs and reports project governance forums as well as monitoring performance metrics.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
• An appropriate tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in project management and delivery is a mandatory requirement
• Experience in the areas of residential construction, sustainability, renewables, energy efficiency or similar would be highly regarded
• Project Management accreditation highly regarded
This is a fixed-term position available until 30 June 2026. The work location for this position is Melbourne CBD or Morwell, VIC with hybrid work arrangements available.
