The Water and River Murray Division are seeking ASO5 Project Officers (Approvals and Agreements) and ASO6 Senior Project Officers (Approvals and Agreements) in their Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch.
About the Role:
The Project Officer (Approvals and Agreements) assists with the development and review of legislative approvals and agreements for a range of projects and programs delivered by the Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch. The role works closely with the Senior Project Officer (Approvals and Agreements) to ensure compliance with relevant Commonwealth funding agreements, governance systems, policies, and procedures.
The Senior Project Officer (Approvals and Agreements) is responsible for leading the development and review of approvals and agreements for a range of projects and programs delivered by the Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch. The Senior Project Officer (Approvals and Agreements) ensures the Branch maintains a high standard of compliance with relevant legislation, Commonwealth funding agreements, governance systems, policies and procedures.
These roles may be performed from various locations around South Australia.

Contract: This is a merit pool and successful applicants may be offered a role based on business needs over the next 12 months. Multiple vacancies currently exist in the team.
Desirable Qualifications: Tertiary or post graduate qualifications in Law
Special Conditions:
- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- Some out of hours work may be required.
- Intrastate and interstate travel including overnight absences may be required.
- A current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4WD is desirable.
Remuneration:
ASO5: $85,790 min - $95,413 max per annum
ASO6: $98,478 min - $104,165 max per annum
