About the role

The purpose of this role is to provide timely, effective and efficient client-focussed administrative services for the BreastScreen Queensland Brisbane Northside Service (BSQBN).

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Responsible for the provision of high-quality administrative services including, but not limited to, appointment bookings/transfers/cancellations, answering telephones and handling client enquiries, processing mail/generic email account and return-to-sender correspondence, chart preparations and filing, faxing, typing, scanning, shredding, emailing, printing, photocopying, ordering office stationery/supplies and sending SMS messages.
  • Responsible for the provision of timely, accurate, efficient creation of client correspondence including the ability to proof read, correct grammar and format letter and email replies.
  • Responsible for the provision of high-quality reception services including but not limited to, greeting clients, handling enquiries and managing bookings for client ‘walk-ins', directing clients and adhering to workplace processes by respecting information privacy and client confidentiality.
  • Perform accurate data entry related to the screening pathway, checking information for accuracy and undertaking quality assurance activities (e.g. auditing and scanning in Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Effectively communicate with clients, including interpreting reports to contact clients, to offer screening appointments, demonstrating understanding, empathy, patience and a positive client-focussed service.
