The Mental Health Inpatient Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Operational Officer to join their team on a casual basis.

Your opportunity
Provide an effective and efficient multi-skilled operational support service (Porterage, Cleaning and Waste) to both clinical and non-clinical staff to assist/facilitate delivery of a quality service to clients of the Mackay Hospital Health Service
About the Team
The Mental Health Inpatient Unit provides care to people who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness. If a person is admitted to an acute inpatient unit, it is often because their mental illness is not manageable in a less restrictive setting, such as community-based support. Acute inpatient treatment services provide care to individuals who are experiencing an acute episode of serious mental illness including Depression, Schizophrenia, Schizo-affective disorder, Bipolar disorder and Personality disorder.
