The role:
Reporting to the ICT Manager, the Application Support Analyst will play a key role in administering, supporting, and enhancing our Case Management System (CMS). This role will ensure the Wage Inspectorate's operational efficiency by working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to maintain and improve our system's functionality.
The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for managing and supporting the CMS on the RegWorks platform, making configuration changes and implementing new workflows. They will collaborate with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical documentation, working closely with external service providers to implement system enhancements and manage change requests. Additionally, the analyst will troubleshoot and resolve issues, manage the internal IT Help Desk, and ensure smooth system operations. A key part of the role will also involve developing and delivering CMS training to end-users as new features are introduced.
To ensure system changes meet business needs, the analyst will facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) by supporting test plan development and coordinating testing cycles. They will work in a collaborative environment to identify and implement system and process improvements, leveraging deep knowledge of software system architecture and technical frameworks. Effective communication skills will be essential to create high-quality documentation, conduct workshop facilitation, process modelling, and drive user acceptance testing.
