EDQ has an opportunity for Planners to join its Planning Services team. Be part of the proactive and innovative team that contributes to the delivery of ‘on the ground development’ in EDQ’s Priority Development Areas (PDAs). Your knowledge, skills, experience in land use planning and development assessment, will be utilised in a variety of projects in a range of locations including greenfield localities, urban transformation sites and mixed-use projects within PDA’s in Queensland. Responsibilities

Through specialist planning, infrastructure and project development expertise, EDQ enables and delivers through innovative developments offering opportunities for housing, employment, investment and growth across Queensland EDQ's Planning Services business unit, is responsible for facilitating development in PDAs through:
- Strategic planning functions - this is led by the Planning and Urban Design (PAUD) team who develop EDQ's land use planning and urban design strategies and policies and translate them into development assessment frameworks for proposed and existing PDAs, and
- Development Assessment functions - this is led by Development Assessment (DA) team who undertake the assessment of complex, significant, and high-profile development applications within PDAs
