The Senior Business Analyst role bridges the gap between our Technology and Business teams. You will work on projects within Airline Operations domains managing the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to functional needs and user training activities. This area includes all our systems in Engineering, Flight Operations, Cabin Crew Services and Workforce Planning.

As a domain expert with a thorough understanding of the business vision and context, the Senior Business Analyst will provide valuable consulting services, bridging the gap between Technology and Business teams. They will offer advice on application support and development across its lifecycle, leveraging their deep understanding of the assigned business area and technology standards to drive successful & sustainable technology solutions to address business problems.

The Senior Business Analyst has a customer-centric mindset with a drive for continuous improvement & innovation.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage and maintain requirements and design information from inception to retirement to provide the biggest impact in advancing business objectives at Feature, Product, Squad, Project or Technical levels
  • Collaborate with senior management and business stakeholders to define business needs and objectives.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, actionable deliverables for both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Lead and coordinate the analysis and implementation of business solutions across multiple projects.
  • Oversee the gathering and validation of business requirements from cross-functional teams.
  • Work across the domain to ensure consistency and to mitigate any potential silo effects.
  • Build effective relationships with service partners to ensure technology services are being delivered efficiently to aligned business outcomes.
  • Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Manage relationships with key business stakeholders, subject matter experts, project teams, other tech squads, cyber and data privacy.
  • Demonstrate innovative thinking and agile ways of working with stakeholders, project team and/or squad.

You’ll Have

  • 7 – 10 Years experience working in a business analyst or similar role
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Experience working with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Experience working on and delivering successful outcomes in large-scale IT project initiatives.
  • Experience working on large-scale and complex business environments
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with modern delivery frameworks including scrum, Kanban, lean, HCD, test automation and others
  • Aviation or airports experience is desirable
  • Experience with emerging technologies & integrations desirable
  • Recognised Certifications well regarded (BABOK, CBAP, Agile etc)
