Experienced Maintenance Drill Rig Fitter
Titeline Drilling is a modern exploration drilling company with operations throughout Australia and around the globe. We are currently seeking an experienced maintenance drill rig fitter for Australia wide based projects in Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, WA, NT, NSW and Tasmania.
FIFO from all capital cities including New Zealand .
As drill rig fitter you will report to Titeline Maintenance Manager and be responsible for maintenance of latest model drill rigs and support equipment, in a safe and operable manner. Our fleet comprises of a range of equipment including UDR/KWL drill rigs, MAN trucks and Toyota light vehicles.
All interested Candidates must have the following to be considered for this Australian based position :
A heavy vehicle/diesel plant/drill rig background will be highly regarded.
Previous experience in maintenance capacity within the drilling industry
Experience with compressors and boosters
Understanding of hydraulic schematics
Must have a current Driver's License
Must be safety focused.
Must produce a clear drug and alcohol screen.
Copy of all current qualifications provided with resume.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical.
Must be a good communicator.
Senior First Aid
The key functions of the Fitters role include :
Ensure that any plant/ equipment inspections are completed to required standards.
Ensure that servicing and maintenance of drill rig and auxiliary equipment is performed to the required standard.
Ensure that maintenance/ repair plans are understood and followed.
Maintenance/ repair tasks comply with all company and client policy/procedures.
Ensure work area is always maintained to required standards through housekeeping and regular inspections.
Effective diagnosis and repair of plant and equipment to company standards
Effectively communicate as required by company and client. This includes written reports, electronic reporting, and verbal communication.
Maintain inventory tools, equipment and consumables
Plan ahead to ensure necessary stock of required consumables is available for maintenance/ repair tasks
Health, safety and wellbeing of all persons on the worksite including any visitors to the worksite
Confirmation of maintenance/ repair outcomes (testing).
