In the role of Surveyor you will manage survey projects to ensure services meet all objectives through the phases of engineering project cycles of planning, designing, constructing and managing the road network.
Accountabilities include:
- Manage engineering survey projects, contracts, survey contractors and field staff to ensure timely completion and adherence to scope and quality to meet the project cycle requirements.
- Undertake specialised survey projects and provide technical expertise and consultancy service in geospatial applications to a diverse range of customers to ensure success, value for money and best practice are adopted.
- Plan, assign, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of your team.
- Manage and maintain effective liaison and communication with internal and external stakeholders on all matters relating to survey projects.
- Ensure operational practices and standards of service and performance comply with departmental and regional policies, legislation (incl. WH&S), TMR surveying standards and governance obligations.
